High Chief Nathaniel Adesiyakan studied Economics at Fourah Bay College, Sierra-Leone and for six years after graduation, he worked severally at the Nigerain Maritime Services Ltd, Apapa, Coastal Services Nig. Ltd., Apapa and Aircool Metal Industries, Ikeja.

In 1972, he took a bold plunge into the slippery terrain of entrepreneurship with the establishment of Translatic Nig. Ltd., Apapa, a clearing and forwarding concern and later added Nat food Industries, Ikeja and Nat Engineering Company, Ile-Oluji. He has once been described as "a hero that sees the difficulties and advantages of great entreprises" and it is that bitter-sweet experience that formed the kernel of this book.
